Calgary Rams Rugby Club

Welcome to the Calgary Rams Rugby Club website.

Founded in 1959, celebrating our 50th Anniversary in 2009 the Calgary Rams were one of the first clubs to play rugby in the city. Over the years the club has been just as well known for its parties and social activities off the field as the rugby they play on it. Whether you are looking to play some serious rugby, or just come out and enjoy a few beers with a bunch of like-minded rugby folk, the club will welcome you into the family.

On the field, we run a competitive men's and women's program, as well as a development team for senior men. In 2010 we will be looking to run an under 12 and 14 junior program, and also have plans underway to form an old boys program.

Currently we have over 85 active members registered with the club and as one of the eldest rugby clubs in Calgary, have a large alumni list that now spans the length of the country. We have boasted a number of representative honours within the club over the years, most notably two players representing Western Canada in recent seasons.
