U-5, U-7, and U-9 is a non-contact, flag league with emphasis on passing, running with ball, evading contact and fun. Coaches Focus on Active Start and FUNdamentals to develop a wide range of motor skills rather than just motor skills specific to a certain sport or position.

U-11 Rugby is a contact league 7v7 with modified Field and Rules. The players will be introduced to tackling (below waist), 1 vs 1 ruck and maul. Emphasis will be on correct techniques, Strategies and fun. Coaches will focus on the Learn to train Aspect of the LTDP focused on a games-based approach to learning the basic skills of the game.

Practices:
- Outdoor practices are held April, May, June and September, weather permitting
- U5 and U7: Mondays from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm
- U9 and U11: Monday and Thursday nights 6:30 pm to 7:30 p
- Location: McKenzie Towne fields, 415 McKenzie Towne Drive SE
- Players need to provide their own runners/cleats for U5s, U7s, U9s, and mouthguard and rugby cleats for U11s
Games:
- Spring games run on Saturdays from May through June
- Fall games run on Saturdays in September
- U5, U7, U9: Saturdays 9:45 am to 11 am
- U11: Saturdays between 9:45 am and 11:45 am
- Location: Calgary Rugby Union, 9025 Shepard Rd SE
- * No games during long weekends
