U16 Boys Assistant Coach
Michelle Hutchison - U13 Girls Coach
Angie Tetley - U15/U16 Girls Coach

My name is Angie Tetley and I will be coaching the Rams U15 and U16 girls in 2023!
I have 2 daughters currently playing for the Rams (U15/16 and U18G) and have been playing with the Sr. Women for over 20 years (still a current player). I have my Level 2 coaching training and have been coaching Rams Girls since 2018. I have coached the U11, U13, U15 and U16 girls in that time. In 2022, the U16 Rams teamed up with the Hornets to win the City Championship! I also coached the U16 Mavericks to a Provincial Championship and helped with U18 Wolf Pack evaluations in 2022 and coached the U18 Maverick 7s earlier in 2023.
I absolutely LOVE RUGBY and coaching girls is my absolute passion!
My coaching style follows the Rugby Values of Discipline, Respect, Integrity, Passion, Solidarity. Rugby truly is for everyone, I believe in safety, fun, equal play and more FUN!
I can’t wait to introduce your daughter to the best sport in the world if she is brand new, or guide her to new levels of confidence and achievements if she has been playing for years. Welcome to the Rams Family! Once a Ram, Always a Ram!
Live, Sweat, Bleed Blue!!!
Jared Morrison - U15 Boys Coach

Hi, I’m Jared Morrison. Originally from New Zealand, I’ve enjoyed a long career in rugby. As a schoolboy, I first played club rugby in Auckland. At 15, I switched from playing to refereeing and am still refereeing today (30-odd years later). In my refereeing career, I’ve been lucky enough to referee every level, from the professional game to under 5’s. It’s been a great ride. While I still referee, I currently spend most of my rugby time coaching with The Rams Junior program. I have two boys in this grade and love the family time rugby gives us.
I coach with the same approach as I referee, and my job is to make rugby day the best day of the week.
Dee Callihoo - U18 Girls Coach
Hello, I am throwing my retired rugby cleats back on the pitch to help the next generation find a love for rugby. I started playing rugby when I was 16, back in Montreal, and continued playing when I moved to Calgary. I was integral in helping to start the Rams women’s side back in 1999 and am so thrilled to see how far the club has come in the past 20 plus years.
I have been a basketball coach for over 25 years and look forward to bringing my coaching skills to the Rams U18 team this year. I believe that you need to practice hard to play hard, but also believe in having balance in your life.
“A GOOD coach can change a game, a GREAT coach can change a life.” – John Wooden
Tiffany Wideen - U18 Girls Coach
Tiffany is a former BC & Alberta provincial rep, University of Lethbridge Pronghorn Alumni.
Now a WR Lev 1 coach with level 2 and 7s certificates on the horizon. She will be adding to her minis, age grade, and university coaching.
Derrik Telford - U18 Boys Coach / U16 Boys Assistant Coach

My passion for rugby started in the 80s playing high school and with the University of Calgary Stags. I joined the Calgary Rams in 1990 and somehow never left. Over the years competitive rugby gave way to family and work, and after a few years away playing the game, I began to really miss it. My Son Evan was the catalyst for me returning to the sport I love, but this time as a coach with a vision to make rugby fun and competitive for our players. I have coached senior teams in the past with some successes but can measure the success of the kids by their smiles, and their desire to learn and play.
My philosophy or approach is to make practice fun with a purpose, games are to apply skills learned and to work towards a common goal. We play a lot of structured and unstructured mini games with the goal of teaching a skill which the players can apply while practicing or during games. My vision for them is to see them grow as players and people and achieve personal and team goals that they have set out for themselves. At this age, the “Train to Compete” and “Train to Win” concepts from the LTDA (long-term athlete development) will be applied with the goal to be active for life, as they move forward into Adulthood.
