VPs (Senior Men, Senior Women, Junior and Minis)

(200 hours/year)

  • General announcements
  • CRU executive interface
  • Rams executive interface
  • Budget creation and approvals
  • Policy creation and approvals and compliance
  • Selection and approval of head coaches.
  • Support discipline committee decisions
  • Setting of meetings
  • Providing training and information resources to the organization.

Volunteer coordinator

(1hr/week -26 weeks)

  • Junior VPs and Rams executive interface
  • Parent volunteers tracking of commitment
  • Volunteer communications
  • Reporting of non-compliance to VPs

Kit and Equipment Coordinator

(1hr/week -20 week)

  • Inventory of club gear and tracking
  • start and end of season
  • Purchasing of gear and kit

Youth Development director

  • Coordination of training between Junior and Senior programs.
  • Communicating opportunities for advancement to players and parents
  • Player promotion in rugby
  • Pathway to excellence in rugby steward for the club

Disciplinary Committee

(6 hrs/season)

Special committee only convened when requested by VP Juniors.

  • Deal with disciplinary issues on Junior level
  • Communicate with VP discipline RAMS to pass resolutions to CRU.

Parents Committee

(10 hours/year)

  • Standing committee (set each season)
  • Committee is made up of Team Managers
  • Communication of program concern to VPs
  • Organize online survey to obtain parent input
  • Award selection input.
  • Kits selection input.
  • Swag selection input
  • Social events interface and team support

Head Coach

(4hrs/week – 16 weeks)

  • Selection of assistant coaches.
  • Selection of team manager
  • Player registration compliance
  • Player Safety
  • Training plan
  • On the field decisions
  • CRU game coordinator interface
  • Game and training accountability
  • Team gear (balls, cones, etc)
  • Player Awards

Assistant Coach

(4hrs/week – 16 weeks)

• Back up to Coach or Team manager

Team Manager

(2hrs/week – 16 weeks)

  • Schedule management
  • Player registration verification and updating
  • Game sheets
  • Game Jerseys
  • Parents information – complaints
  • Kit distribution
  • Social Events

Jersey Parent

(1hr/week for season)

  • Make sure clean jerseys are at games
  • Distribute (ie $150 cheque, or collect after each game)

Social Media Director

(5-10 hours per month)

  • Manage the social media platforms of the club
  • Advertise & promote the club with the support of the board
  • Help promote the entire club from top to bottom

Director of Fundraising & Sponsorship

(15 hr/month)

  • Coordinate & locate funding opportunities for the club
  • Work with the Jr & Sr Volunteer coordinators to make sure the club can support fundraising events
  • Coordinate with the board to ensure that opportunities are right for the club and are sufficient to meet program needs
